Stepping Stone, Inc. Helping Male Teens Solve Problems
Board of Directors | Contact Us

Welcome to Stepping Stone, Inc., a non-profit Level I residential treatment facility for troubled adolescent males aged 12 - 17, and transitioning adult males aged 18 - 21, who are in the custody of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. We help children with issues ranging from abuse/neglect, to truancy, to academic problems, to status offenses.

Our residents are given a chance to build a better future for themselves through positive self-image development, the learning of various life skills, and academic focus. Residents are given the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and involvement within our local community.

At SSI, our Mission Statement is "To teach adolescent males to be positively self-reliant through a program of behavior modification fostering a positive self-image, academic and vocational skills, respect for society and personal responsibility."

Feel free to browse through our website for more information about our program, as well as information about how you can get involved. Thank you!
